It's a privilege to live in this 500 year old Farmhouse built with Abbey Stone. Nearbye is Wells the smallest city in England with its beautifully carved cathedral and Bishops Palace. Glastonbury is historically interesting with its ruined Abbey, it was dissolved in 1536 by Henry VIII. Its colourful High Street boasts an eclectic mixture of shops. People are drawn to this mystical place for its rich history of spiritual pilgrimage, and sacred sites. Glastonbury has been described as the quirkiest town in England. Thousands of people from all corners of the world visit Glastonbury every year. In recent years it has become a mecca for the alternative. Glastonbury has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries. I moved to the area in 2019 attracted by the clean air and natural beauty of the environment, the beautiful countryside and opportunities it offers.
